Asset Life CycleWorkplace’s Asset and Inventory Management services provide the customer with cost avoidance and reduced cycle time from order to delivery.  AIM is a systematic method to continually describe, locate, track and store excess inventory (furniture and non-furniture assets) and manage that inventory to the client’s requirements.   AIM helps you to better utilize your assets by simplifying the tracking process, reusing existing assets, analyzing assets to eliminate obsolete inventory and reduce storage costs, managing asset levels to fulfill requirements, and reduce cycle time from order to delivery.

The components of the AIM service program are as follows:

Asset Categories

The AIM program is capable of managing all types of standardized assets. This includes furniture made by all manufacturers, as well as items such as:

  • Computers
  • Artwork
  • Medical Equipment
  • Banking Equipment
  • Supplies
  • Records

Technology

AIM incorporates a Web enabled software tool that provides the following features:

  • The AIM software is multi-user and allows for reservations of current assets.
  • Users can search their inventory based on item, color, fabric, and/or other attributes.
  • Upon filtering the inventory information, the system will retrieve the requested information including digital photo and asset information.
  • Approved users can access and utilize the data base 7/24.

Reservations

  • Reserve furniture for deployment simply by filling in an AIM form on the Internet.
  • Upon completion of the reservation form, E-mail is immediately sent to a Network representative, who in turn coordinates delivery/installation.

Reports

  • Reports include asset standards, asset-by-date, location, historical usage, reservations and custom reports.
  • By simply running a report, and performing an analysis of asset information, assets may be identified as obsolete or dormant allowing inventory and storage costs to be reduced.
